I had an epiphany! Guys and their food are like girls and their clothes. A girl can have a closet packed full of clothes and still say she has nothing to wear. A guy can have an overflowing fridge and pantry and still complain that there is nothing to eat.

I figured it out! Children are energy vampires. It doesn't take very much time playing with kids before I am dead tired. However, the more time I spend with the kids, the more energy they have!

I had an epiphany! Ash from the Pokemon series has the last name of Ketchum. Last night I realized Ketchum sounds like "catch 'em". As in "Gotta catch 'em all".

Is that the slogan for Pokemon or something?

I had an epiphany! Even under ideal conditions people have trouble locating their car keys in a pocket, finding their cell phone, and Pinning the Tail on the Donkey- but I'd bet everything that everyone can find and push the snooze button from 3 feet away, in about 1.7 seconds, eyes closed, first time, everytime!

I had an epiphany! Lay's Limon chips aren't actually any good. I've got them a few times now and always thought they were pretty good. Then I realized that they don't have an enjoyable taste. It's just shock treatment for your mouth. I've been buying those and salt & vinegar merely for novelty and to say, "Take that you taste buds!"

Blasphemy! Salt and Vinegar chips are amazing and timeless. They should never be compared to those crappy Limon chips.

I've never had Limon chips but I agree with clintmoses about the Salt and Vinegar chips: "amazing and timeless"!

I had an epiphany! I realized I don't share any of the epiphanies I have because if I could rate my own they would be rated "duh, that's obvious" and I'm pretty sure anyone else would rate them the same. Apparently, I'm not very good at realizing things that others wouldn't...just things that everyone else already knows :/

I'm not sure if I voted positively because I liked it or because I was touched. Either way, there was some kind of emotion.

I had an epiphany! I just saw a sign by an elevator that was at ground level that said "IN CASE OF FIRE USE STAIRS". Why wouldn't you just walk out the door around the corner BY THE STAIRS?

Maybe it meant that if there is a fire and your not on ground level than people will know what to do.

on 04/01/10 at 06:36 pm by smileyface

Maybe the ground level is on fire or there is a horrid earthquake that makes getting to the new ground level require stairs. I would say those sign people were just making sure to cover every emergency scenario including mass destruction. They're on the ball.

I had an epiphany! If we humans use this term (The younger generation usually does more often) "You're a meanie!" when someone is mean, then is it appropriate to say "You're a nicey!" when someone is nice? When typing these 2 strange terms in, the term "meanie" was correctly spelled and the term "nicey" was not, no matter how I spelled it.

if someone is a jerk would it be appropriate to call them jerky?

on 03/22/10 at 08:50 pm by joeschmoe

if someone is sweet then we call them a sweetie, so, if someone is fun,why don't we call them funny?

on 03/30/10 at 11:16 am by katiemia

I think the rule is to watch your spell checker.

on 03/30/10 at 12:58 pm by elico3000

I agree with joeshmoe's comment, in conjunction with the epiphany

I had an epiphany! What someone says and what really happens are usually 2 different things.

a little bit cynical, don't you think?

on 03/13/10 at 10:08 pm by elico3000

A bit...now that I think about it, teens tend to do this more than adults. Of course, there is a difference in maturity levels...

on 03/15/10 at 04:01 pm by spontaneous123

This mostly depends on the person. There are those that you can count on them to follow this rule no matter the situation. Then there are those that are more sneaky about it.

I had an epiphany! This addiction I have to eating is a genetically transferable chemical addiction. It's all so clear now. My ancestors didn't used to have to eat. Then they had to expirement with it...just once and WHAM! Here I am eating three meals a day and it all goes back to Adam and Eve.

Your brain makes a "priority list" and breathing, eating, drinking, blinking, etc. are all on the top. That's why you don't even think "Oh, I need to breathe" or "Blink, blink, blink" all the time. That's why it is considered an addiction. I wonder where we'd be if our ancestors didn't eat...
